Two observing sites

Seven assemblies, across two sites

The observatory runs two sites: the Toulouse dome, home to the main telescope, the wide-field refractor and the solar telescope, and the pic du Midi, where the association has a wide-field telescope.

The dome does not observe below 10 degrees above the horizon, in any direction: lower than that, the neighbouring roofs come into the field.

  • Toulouse, under the dome: four instruments and the dome

  • Pic du Midi: one instrument, its mount and the DIMM dome
