What each instrument allows

Four named instruments

Projects run at the observatory are selected by the scientific committee. Each instrument’s name ends with the site where it stands.

  • T51-OJBT, main telescope, 508 mm, PlaneWave CDK 20 inch, under the Toulouse dome

  • L13-OJBT, wide-field refractor, 130 mm, TS Optics CF-APO, Toulouse

  • TS28-OJBT, solar telescope, 279 mm, Baader Triband-SCT, Toulouse

  • T28-Pic, wide-field telescope, 279 mm, Celestron RASA 11 inch, pic du Midi

Pick a site

What each instrument allows

Pick the observing site: only the instruments that stand there are shown. The Toulouse instruments and the one at the pic du Midi are not comparable, they are not in the same place.

Submitting a project

The scientific committee selects programmes through a call for proposals. Submission happens from the research page.
